I always thought "brawl" was a closer translation than fight.
Interpretation of words differs greatly from country to country. In Japan, it is either Batoru (battle) or Faito (fight). To be honest, the word "brawl" is rarely used and usually used for animals.
Well, if you know the game Street Fighter, they never once mentioned brawl.
it's 乱闘 rantou or 喧嘩 kenka
I think Kenka is quarreling as with couples in a relationship.
I never understood why people complained about that line.
because its annoying as hell and said way too often.
But most of those who hate such lines often doesn't even know the meaning behind words like - Senpai, Onii-chan/san etc. Haters will always cook up excuses just to hate, which can be found on almost all articles on this site.
