The Naruto franchise has netted another announcement by way of Jump Festa 2016, as it has been revealed that the Itachi Shinden spin-off novels (part of the Naruto Shinden series) is slated for an anime adaptation, certain to generate acclaim from the anti-hero’s legion of obsessed fans.
The announcement had caused surprise as the first novel was released only a few months ago in September, the anime possibly being a result of its success; the anime will be known as “Naruto: Shippuuden – Itachi Shinden-hen ~Hikari to Yami~” and will focus on Itachi Uchiha’s tragic past, bound to be rife with both hardship and questionable actions.
Whether or not “Sasuke Shinden” will eventually accompany the Itachi Shinden adaptation is not known, but considering the franchise’s abject refusal to end, it seems all but inveitable.
Naruto: Shippuuden – Itachi Shinden-hen ~Hikari to Yami~ will air in spring of 2016.
I’m still holding out for more Rock Lee related content.
This series is the reason Cyberconnect 2 have stopped making dot hack games. They’ve invested everything into making yearly Naruto games and clearly don’t have the staff for RPGs anymore.
Why do they keep making more Fishcake spinoffs?
Why do haters care about any spinoffs if they don’t like it?
Haters? If you can’t see that the show has lost all meaning, and is being milked for $$$ and not being allowed to die gracefully, you’re an idiot.
looks like the fujoshits got their wish.
Naruto has been running that long compared to the likes of Jojo or Detective Conan.
