Ever since the microtransaction shop, yeah, events are crap now
lol subscription game with a microtransaction shop, what a joke... There used to be tons of cosmetic prizes for free....
As someone who's played more than the free trial you likely fumbled through, I like that they add old event items to the shop. It means new players cans till get the old event items even if they missed them and we're guaranteed new items every year instead of the same recycled cosmetics that you got last year *coughs*FFXI*coughs*...
Same here. OP is a moron. Cash shop has not affected the events at all. I look forward to the events even though I have all the items I want (which I earned through the event not the cash shop).
Cash shop changed events drastically, dumbass. You used to get good items, mounts and outfits, now you get some fireworks and maybe a hat. You have to buy the stuff you could get from past events.
A santa hat and hat/beard combo, a set of reindeer hoof gloves/boots with antlers and a christmas tree... what the fuck are you expecting a santas sleigh mount with a full team of reindeer?
You get paid by them or something? "Events" are crap since a realm reborn started. Before, they were fun, and you'd get a mount and a whole outfit or glimmer weapon, but now events are you do about 30 minutes of waiting and you get some fireworks, and if you want the mount or outfit, you have to pay for it in the microtransaction store, pay 2 play games shouldnt have that crap
You certainly didn't get mounts for seasonal events back in 1.0.
Nowadays you do get whole outfits and sometimes mounts for events so I'm not sure what you're smoking man.

So many people talking shit that never played the game. Sounds like you may have played one event, period. This event they're talking about has a reindeer and snowman outfit you earn IN THE GAME.
Last Christmas, you got an outfit and some housing trees. Last Halloween you got a mount and an outfit, this halloween you got crap, had to buy the outfits from the shop. The events suck, enough people must have complained if theyre finally giving mounts
