Where is Patlabor damn it?
Or Fang of the Sun - Dougram?
Crusher Joe?
FUCKING SABER RIDER AND THE STAR SHERIFS / Sei Jūshi Bisumaruku!
Transformers also Counts!
They sealed it's death with the Live action
No Gravion?
This list disappoints me greatly.
Full Metal Panic?
Second that.
Macross F on the list, without SDF Macross or Macross 7? WTF is this shit?
Gunbuster is BELOW Valvrave and fucking Aldnoah? Those two shouldn't even be on the list.
You are spot on Valvrave was trash and Aldnoah Zero second season just went to complete shit.
Nah, it was good comedy.
Valvrave was great because it didn't take **anything** seriously. Teenage mecha pilots are old hat, let's make them *vampires*!
we have to give props to Sunrise though. atleast they didn't make them shiny
Agree
haters gonna hate ... find another list to bash, move along
Eureka Seven? It wasn't that bad I think, I dont mean the sequel.
where the fuck is VOTOMS
In a museum :)
Ooh, a list that no-one agrees about on Sankaku. Imagine that. Still, the first three are quite accurate.
It pains me to admit the random trolls in here are right. Some of these series are shit.
There are almost no random trolls on sankom. All of them are regulars.
So Aquarion and Code Geass made it on but Super Dimensional Fortress Macross, Macross Plus, and the original Eureka Seven didn't. That's...one way to make a list, I suppose.
Needs 100% more Godannar. It also feels like the last decade of the trash Evangelion shovelware has made people forget how incredible the original Evangelion was and still is.
Aldnoah should be on the very bottom of the list.
I actually loved Aldnoah Zero... until I saw the second half ~_~;
What about mazinger z
Mazinger is Giant Robot not Mecha.
So is GaoGaiGar and Gunbuster.
This retard...
Mecha is all piloted robots, dude. Not just piloted robots, but it is usually referring to stuff like Gundam. Doesn't matter what size they are.
The Big O and My Big Robo are missing as well as Voltron.
Also, just thinking of a few I have.
Blue Gender
Break Blade
Eureka Seven (and AO)
RahXephon
Voltron isn't actually an anime.
It's animated by Japanese people. It aired originally in Japan before coming to the US. Yes, it is anime. Some Voltron is not anime, but the original definitely is.
I only agree with the Yoko part. Still, It just cant be that compared much too much comedy and constant googling over just one Character depending the fan. But yeah. Gundam was more action strongly compared to Transformers than any other. Evangelion tho could take it a slow 55% beyond the charts. That is just my opinion of course.
Linebarrels.
Meh ... Macross Frontier is more of Romance with a bit of mecha twist rather than Mecha Anime.
I can't remember any mecha battle on it. Even Valvrave is much better than that.
Macross Frontier is totally mecha, just because you can't remember the fights don't mean they're there. Especially when you have Battle Frontier fighting Battle Galaxy
If you can't remember the transforming Monster loaded with nukes, perhaps you need try watching it again, this time without the weed.
AQUARIOOOOOOOON
How the hell is Code Geass better than NG Evangelion?
How the hell is NG Evangelion there, it have only 1 giant robot and by 1 episode only >.>
you spelled 'how the hell is Code Geass not number 1 on this list' wrong.
Eureka Seven?
Man the kids these days don't know their history. Macross and Voltron gotta be top two spots no discussion, word.
Except Voltron isn't even an anime.
If anyone hasn't seen Gunbuster, you need to. It's simultaneously a fantastic and terrible combination of the 80s, anime, and Top Gun, and early knowledge of space/physics theory. You too, will say, "What the fuck, only #9?"
What a shit list
Where's Break Blade?
full metal panic!
Not even close.
cross ange
Dude, that one was totally left out, it was well deserving of like 3rd place. (after code geass and gunbuster) at least if we're judging by quality of content. Diebuster was also kinda missing, although admittedly that one wasn't much better than Gurren Lagann, still just a little though.
