Jack Thompson didn’t focus solely on GTA. He essentially tried to censor any video game with gratuitous violence. But in a way, he made it his life mission to end the GTA franchise in particular.

Addressing your second point, who gives a fuck? How about they stop attacking both the developers and products all together. How about they exercise some common sense and stay the fuck out of things they don’t know shit about.
