Dragon Ball Super has revamped its highly criticized art and animation with its first BD release, bringing the “inexcusable” quality up to a more tolerable level and allowing the anime a chance to redeem itself amongst dedicated Dragon Ball fans.
The horrendous art present in the 5th episode of Dragon Ball Super’s TV run can be seen on the left, while the visually enhanced BD version can be observed on the right:

Third image down actually looks worse.

But is still a movie into a full season….
It actually looks a lot better TBH. The hair and face are more in line with the style keys from the end of Z.
Shame that its a redraw and not a rewrite tho
so blu-ray now stands for Blur ray i guess that’s what they mostly did
