A new trailer for the graphically controversial King of Fighters XIV has shown off numerous characters both new and returning, earning extra points from fans with some close-ups on the more voluptuous fighters.
The new trailer from the 2015 PlayStation Experience:
King of Fighters XIV will punch and kick its way to the PS4 sometime in 2016.

And when people said America's game is only about graphics, we see lots of butthurt fans justifying that their games isn't just about nice graphics, other factors is taken into consideration as well.
Now I wonder if that were true...seems very hypocritical.

Graphics don't make a game. However, that is subjective. To me, gameplay comes first. But graphics certainly can bring a perfectly good game down a few notches.
I'm used to DOA and the detail, texturing, and fluidity of movement that goes with it. So I'm spoiled. In 2016, This game looks like shit. But I'm sure it'll play well just like every other KOF.
It's just that they used to be kings of pixel art and visual presentation. Back in the day and still I play older KOF games for the beautiful stages. So for a KOF game to not be visually striking is a bummer to me.
I hope this isn't even close to the finished version...

while its good to see the 2001 team again , I'm afraid that history is gonna burn this game cause their unfortunately suffering from the castlevania syndrome. franchises that are only meant to be 2D.
yeah, the graphic is bad, but not that bad, I would consider the price before deciding wether to buy or rent.
Still looks terrible. It especially does not bode well when they keep ignoring everyone complaining about it.
So Japanese still use ps3 Development kits to make games even for ps4?
cheaper i guess... i mean, look at capcom... all the cash poured into that SF and I still prefer the game I play in local arcades.

THe aliasing is terrible, look at those lines specially hair. The resolution is terribly low specially for a 2D fighting game were 1080p shouldn't be a problem with high resolution textures to boot. You look at this and you look at SF5 it's like "what dahell these people doing?"
First I was sceptish with this game. But now I see boobs, and know the fiasco with FF7 remake, I think I'll like this KOF
it would be better if they use cel-shaded 2D.
