    I personally think the To Love Ru Saga is one of those that "You just cannot stop adding to your collection". I find it to be my top 1 on the list hence the Ecchi genre. Apart from all the DVD's I too have most of the manga volumes. I mean what's not to love about it? An epic Harem with epic girls mixing some epic lewd scenes and comedy. Nana with her cute false tsunderism, Lala with that brain of hers, and Momo supreme queen of dirty, Yami with her Evil past, and the rest of the girls their sexy stories. And now with the sexy blast Nemesis has brought upon us on the Anime, it just keeps getting better and better.

    The art, the fan service, and even (some of) the girls are top-notch. But Rito is so underwhelming.

    No, he doesn't need to go all casa nova or harem king or such, but his unmaliness, personality and general ineptitude towards the opposite sex is appalling and vexing at this point.
    There's virtually no character development on this guy hundreds of chapters in. Just having "being nice" as you sole selling point should only get you so far...

    Oh well. More fanservice and crap shot under the radar is great I guess.

    Sadly we had hundreds of such manga in the past and all of them ended up with people being fed up that the makers just mess around rather than finally come to a solution. It's better to piss off most people by chosing one girl rather than piss off EVERYONE by not coming to an end or, failing that, go the Tenchi route like Momo wanted to all along, marry them all and then do some meaningful stuff again.
    That aside, Rito is supposed to become the king of the universe so that Lala's father can retire, that was the original goal and it's kinda been put aside. Yabuki had shown with Black Cat that he can draw action just as well as sexy girls, so I'd honestly appreciate moving on already. Lala's father becoming impatient, much like the fans, would be the easiest story line to go along with and still have many opportunities.

    I agree, that Kannagi stuff was ludicrously nonsensial. Hell, it worsed the already-bad medical condition of the author due to the amount of stress put on her. The last thing someone needs is death threats over some decisions of a fictional character and it wasn't even a direct statement either, it was just an off-hand suggestion. Absolutely silly.

    Do we care about what you chose to do with your life, no? There are fans of this endless service manga and I'm one of them. Haters just don't understand how difficult it is to draw things with a pencil if you had no talent, much less inking after drawing them. All I could think of is that people nowadays are spoiled for choices and can no longer appreciate things.

    If it is so easy to make money by drawing stuffs like this, why isn't there any western made versions (which supposedly comes with good plots) No one is forcing people to read it, so it's ok if you decided to drop it.

    It's not about the art. It's that there's been so little progression it's starting to feel like Scooby-Do by now. He might as well just stop calling it a manga and release it as individual drawings. By this point the context is getting so over stretched that it's actually harming the service rather than helping.

    If Rito's reaction to this stuff could at least change the slightest bit, it would be able to enjoy it more. It would help no end to sustain his existence as an actual character and not just a bland unlikeable running gag.

    Manga is basically comic but in different language. Drawings assigned to each panels which is arranged to imply the pacing is a style only found in comics. I do not agree with your statement but acknowledge this is your rights.
