Crypton Future Media has announced the Miku Expo “Let’s Go Campaign“, a crowd-funding project of sorts aimed towards lessening the burdens of international travel so that Miku can have concerts in more locations around the world, indirectly aiding in her quest for world domination in the process.
The campaign will use the lesser known crowd-funding site “Pledge Music” to generate its donations, with the project already becoming a resounding success as the funding has gone above and beyond its initial goal within only a day of opening.
An animation advertising the campaign:
A multitude of rewards are available for donators as well, including T-shirts, special badges, watches and other such trinkets:
Fans interested in bringing Miku’s glorious voice to more countries around the globe can contribute to her crowd-funding project now.
Now all Vocaloid needs is to buy Hollywood. Popipo everywhere.
cute
Its pretty cute, I want the pin.
But she isn’t even a cartoon. She’s less than a cartoon. She has no story or development of character. It’s just a glorified tone generator.
They just announced another concert in Mexico City since the one concert they had sold out within hours of opening. Europe does have a chance to get a concert, but you have to purchase the 1 million dollar concert option on the same crowd funding site (www.pledgemusic.com/projects/hatsune-miku-expo-2016/exclusives)
So in fact, not a chance in hell for an European concert…
