The 2nd trailer for Phantasy Star Online 2‘s upcoming anime has shown off a larger assortment of fight scenes than its previous effort, a good sign for those unimpressed by the inclusion of school-life hi-jinks and slice-of-life in the MMORPG adaptation.

And still no sign of the western release... Man, F*ck SEGA.
Sega doesn't care about Europe/America anymore. They're a shell of the company they once were from their glory days. When the company eventually dies, I hope someone picks up their franchises, like Crazy Taxi, Space Channel 5, Chu Chu Rocket and more etc
You forget that their is still a small side division that still somewhat cares, they're just Far Far to busy milking *cough* creating Vocaloid games and concerts to do anything else meaningful~ (this was also apparent when they started giving other SEGA games cameos in the Project Diva games~ though they barely do it anymore~)
They have it for pc, but PlayStation yet. The cause of it is still unknown.
SEGA making sense past the dream cast ? nah...

Incoming anime comes out stateside, but the game remains to be seen.
I think this is intential for budget purposes. It's far cheaper to produce a school based anime than it is to do mecha stuff.
Actually it is the opposite as CGI is cheap as fuck these days.

I miss the days when designers actually put work into their main character.
Feels like I've watched anime with dudes with this same hair style (and probably a similar personality) like a hundred times now.
There are ways to make black haired MC looks unique, like make the hair long, or just give him glasses, it's really not hard, or otherwise you could just apply the same rainbow-colored hair logic they did with the girls to the guys.
It's not a matter of "putting efforts into your designs" than "stop deliberately going for the generic design for the sake of making your MC generic".
It's like anime and game designers are stuck with the mandatory of making their male mc's look like Shinji Ikari or Kirito wannabees.
As usual, the male mc is black-haired...
Always a red flag for me.
And of course the girls are blondies...
