No idea where they got the word sweet from. If you look at the original article title it says "好きなアニメのオープニング" Which is "Anime opening you like."

Looking at the first place I cant tell this isn't a sweet op ranking but the usual popularity biased poll.
not really. it's a pretty good song overall, just probably it's not in your or the minority group's taste.
If you like voice with 0 emotion and one guy who constantly clicks 3 sound bits for 4 minutes, then it is a good song.

Wow, actually some great old songs from FMA, Rurouni Kenshin, Hoozuki no Reitetsu and One piece.
Kenshin had a lot of great music. Not just the opening and ending pieces, of which 1/2 was my favourite, but all of the background music as well. Best show ever for overall music, in my opinion.
Only my railgun is a good, catchy song that fits its show well. It deserves to be on the list.
The Kalafina stuff… is a little overexposed to me. Too many similar songs for too many shows. Having said that, I did enjoy the Zero music when the show came out. I’d have to watch the show again to remember which song was best.
Dunno why the Kyojin or Angel Beats stuff is on any list. Don’t remember Air or FMA, never heard the others.
I don’t have any expectations but someday I’d like to see some offbeat stuff show up on this type of list. Mugen no Ai from the otherwise bland Mouretsu Pirates, or Os-Uchuujin from the disappointing Denpa Onna are both fun songs that fit what the shows promise but alas, don’t always deliver.
Kenshin definitely has one of the best OST ever. My favorite is definitely one of the background tracks from the OVAs, can't remember the song name. The OP/ED are all awesome, it's hard to choose one, I love 1/2 too but 1/3 no junjou na kanjou, dame, niji, it's gonna rain... AHHH can't choose hahaha
I like the kyojin opening, it seems epic and fits the story style in my opinion.

I see a pattern here, slow songs, female singers, boring animations.
Maybe if you were literal in the meaning of "sweetest" it'd make sense. But you put Attack on Titan in there...

it's a poll. but once again the article is misleading with the word "sweetest" when the linked poll above is translated to "favorite OP poll"... like seriously? next article will be "most badass anime ED" when really it's "favorite anime ED".. smh rift...
Seems like an overall misleading list. Half of these openings are boring, slow, and not particularly creative. Not to mention from well known animes.
If we're talking openings that have style, excellent animation, and a good song then I can think of a much better list just off the top of my head.

10. Er, I'm running out of easy ideas so lets throw in the "Fighting Dreamers" naruto opening.
Notice how the list excludes a lot of bigger name animes? Just because Evangelion was popular doesn't mean it had a great opening. Same thing goes for a lot of the stuff that made it on the original list. I mean, Railgun was pretty good but that opening is about as boring and cliche as it gets. Honestly...

I wish this site gave notifications for replies, because you'll never see this. YES. All the Ranma 1/2 music and FMA. I listened to almost all the Slayers music in the 90s and pretty much memorized the lyrics before I knew Japanese well. I also liked the Rurouni Kenshin soundtrack, and it's not that surprising the same Noriyuki Asakura did the music in Tenchu: Stealth Assasins. It had a feeling that could have blended into the margins of Kenshin too I think.
