The unique Yohjo Simulator (“youjo” meaning “little girl”) has been deftly removed from Steam despite only arriving onto the platform a few days ago, with Steam’s almighty overlords refusing to elaborate on its removal and causing the game’s few fans to blame the hordes of purists heinously denouncing the game as “pedophilia”.
Yohjo Simulator was apparently a title riding on the “goattails” of Goat Simulator, a title intentionally made to be nonsensical and possess over-the-top physics while having no clear goal, a concept that has many perplexed in regards to its appeal – although featuring a little girl rather than a grown man with a gun as protagonist may well have doomed it.

If it was taken down for the alleged claims of supposedly of promoting “something negative” and people found it offensive enough to demand it to be taken down, then I call bullshit on people saying it was offensive. Hatred a game about aimlessly murdering people with no real purpose was banned by steam and eventually crawled it’s way back onto steam weeks later because people’s argument about the game was that Valve should not censor “art”. I call bullshit on people claiming the game was “offensive” (whatever that means these days…)
Fair enough if people think the game was shitty but if all it takes to get a game taken down is a shitty rating or review, Then half of the early access games should be taken down from steam. And about 35% of fully released titles should be taken down also (Destiny Warriors RPG for example on steam) A clear example of a cheap shovelware knockoff Naruto game someone made with RPG maker in less than a day. There’s gotta be more to this Yohjo Simulator removed from steam story they’re not mentioning….
It’s a really shitty game, but yet it’s not a game much at all. It reminds me of one of those debug test maps to see how the character controls around the environment. Still I hope it was pulled for being just that and not because of some whiteknights over reacting.
I’m not sad to see this go, but if shitty games are prohibited on steam I better make some coffee since I’ll be up all night reporting titles.
