Madan no Ou to Vanadis has become the next worthy show to obtain its own English dub, suitably enough considering its non-Japanese setting, though many are hoping that the anime’s impending arrival to the US will be devoid of its previously horrendous animation quality…
A preview of the English dub:
Good, a bad show getting slightly worse is much better than a good show becoming awful.
Why the hell is this garbage getting a dub when there are so many better anime in recent years that still don’t have one?
You talk like getting a dub is some honor or something…
Getting a dub simply means more people will watch the anime, even if we personally hate them. Vanadis is not something I would recommend to actual anime fans, let alone the kinds of people who stand to benefit from a Funi dub.
Funimation uses the same voices for like every show. They’re like s♥♥t scared to give some newbies a lead role in a new series, thus they’re stagnating a bit.
At least Sentai Filmworks have thrown a bunch of unknowns into random roles in the hope they may discover someone decent. Sure their dubs are worse than Funimations, but I’d give them an A for effort in trying new voices, something Funimation wont do.
What the f♥♥k. The strong muscular guy is voiced by a pansy. That is so sad. Also nobody really give a f♥♥k about that tid bit of animation alright? We should already know what it’s like in the animation industry. They work their asses off and don’t get enough for it. If anything, that sloppy work means that the animators aren’t going to want to do a 2nd season.
The Japanese animators couldn’t give two shits about the dub. Plus, they were animating Vanadis. I highly doubt they have any pride in that shitty anime, it’s just a job.
You know what I love about dubs?
Absolutely nothing!
The dub isn’t for you, so that opinion of yours is worthless.
