7 meters? I bet that pillow is alot longer than most Japansese rooms.
Is Mia really that large?
It seems like half that length would have been plenty satisfying.
Depending on the needs of the script Mia has been described as up to 25 meters when long fully extended but that was with a human and a mermaid hanging off of her tail tip in a lethal water trap.

Maybe by her official specs she is, but if you judge by how she's drawn most of the time, she's 5 meters at best, probably close to 4.
She's easily way more than that even in the shortest drawn images. At only 4 meters, that would be like her standing at human hieght with only a little over an equal amount laying flat against the floor. And that's if she didn't curl the tail at all. She'd actually struggle to balance in many cases at that length and be incredibly top heavy when upright, let alone do all the tail grabbing and coiling stuff.
I would totally buy one if it weren't for that price tag. That's a tough one to swallow...
