One dedicated King of Fighters fan has made a video comparing the moves in the upcoming King of Fighters XIV and the previous KOF XIII, showing the new game’s faithfulness with its highly similar animations but now possibly giving it room to be lambasted for its “lack of new content”.
The spot-on comparison video:
King of Fighters XIV can continue to irk fans with its “atrocious” 3D CG when it arrives on PS4 sometime in 2016.
The biggest thing is the 3d characters don’t stand out over the backgrounds at all. Makes it hard to see what the hell they’re doing.
It’d look great if they just did a high resolution 2D game with quality art but everything is 3D now because reasons.
Look at Guilty Gear Xrd and if you still think 2D is the way to go, you should be having them eyes checked.

KOF XIII was very good and surpassed XII i was expecting this to be even better in 2D
They didn’t learn the lesson with maximum impact
because you should always make your gaming decision based on 12 year old games…
I liked the MI series; I hope it comes back.
