The musical kemonomimi chaos of Show by Rock! is slated to make a return as both a new anime and an animated short have been announced, and whether by popular demand or merely to further advertise Sanrio’s mobile game, fans of moe content and cute kemonomimi girls will likely be overjoyed.

The news was delivered by way of the Show by Rock! event:

In typical announcement fashion however, no other information has been divulged about the new season or the animated short, including when they will air.
