Anime-aficionados have revealed the top shows of autumn 2015 that have managed to both hold their attention thus far and inspire their anticipation of what is to come, both slice-of-life and one-sided action apparently proving to be fruitful forms of entertainment, bound to be valuable information for animation studios (although this is probably not news to Netflix).

OPM even on the list at all? It's a one trick pony that would make a good 10 minute short (something like Anime Expo's Hammerhead), but stretching out to a whole season is fucking laughable.

Also I'm talking about the original One Punch Man by One, with really sub par art. It has many plot points which have yet to be elaborated on, which means plenty of room for more interesting developments moving forward.
Actually I loved the webcomic with shitty art. Read it for years and years before the anime even came out. And now that the anime is out, I love it even more.

This list is somewhat okay, because there are a few that I like that became anime but wish to see some other stuff like accel world dural magisa garden, second season of no game no life, youkai shoujo, uq holder to become anime. For now, I'll leave things be.
IMO Gundam should be WAY higher on this list. At least above Heavy Object.
I've literally seen every gundam show produced except sd gundam and i find myself looking forward to heavy object every week more than gundam
I couldnt even watch the second episode of Heavy Object. Gundam has definitely caught my attention though.

Yep, interesting enough if you remeber all that people dissing it as bad copy of Asterisk )ranked #16), just for being aired 2 hours later.
Don't get me wrong, I like both (novel fan, already know what will happen this season in both cases) but I simply find ironic the one everyone was dissing is now way better considered.
Neither one is really a "bad copy" of the other, since both are fairly generic versions of a common trope. Hell, they're not even the only two "school for badasses with personal weapons" shows this season. Both have their advantages and shortcomings, but they're each certainly watchable.
Asterisk wins for best girl though, for Claudia.

Fafner is ridiculously underrated. Though I'm guessing most of these fans who voted don't buy the BDs/DVDs. Fafner Exodus(First part) has sold quite well. By all accounts it has made Xebec good profit.

oh i definitely watched a lot already, since the 90's. sure, i too agree it's all the same, recycled thing nowadays. then again, some of these 'recycled stuffs' still managed to pique my interest- thanks to different creative angles that each author/director/whoever made it take which makes them stand out from the rest of the clone pool. and how do i spot that? by sticking around and watch the damn series to the end. sometimes things take a twist midway, some to the end; dont expect every damn series to be interesting from the start.
you're actually missing a lot by dropping by, say, episode 5- heck some series goes up to 10. in the end, those that prematurely dropped series (with their premature brain) can only whine and rant through the season that 'everything's boring' while i continue to watch, enjoy, and continue laughing at you losers.

like i said, not all anime, or specifically story has a rapid development. some are a little slow due to the need of character development/reveals but they're good nonetheless afterwards- hence why you really lost alot by dropping at 3
