Yandere Simulator‘s developer has elaborated on the game’s newly implemented seduction feature as well as the addition of collectible ero-manga; a host of graphical improvements and other planned content have been revealed as well, something that less sympathetic critics have considered to be long overdue.
The truly scandalous PV:
Updates and progress for Yandere Simulator can be tracked via its official page.
Learn Illusion how to make a fun plot to your games dammit.
Is the final game going to be English dubbed or Japanese dubbed?
>Expecting dubbing from a one man produced game
top kek
>top kek
why are you even here?
something something rare pepe
>why are you even here?
top kek, lurk moar.
Why not? Other “homemade” games have dub too, done by dedicated amateurs.
“Yan Dairy Simulator”…
Seriously, how has he not yet realised the pronunciation of ‘yandere’?
Or maybe I’ve been wrong about it all this time?
Cherry Touch is written the wrong way in Katakana. It’s supposed to be right to left in vertical lines, not left to right. It reads “touch cherry” instead lol!
Nope, you’ve not been wrong it’s just that he is your typical north american guy who can’t pronounce a single japanese word the correct way.
Chill people, a normal game development routine takes 2 to 3 years. He’s indie and practically alone in this so. This thing isn’t even through it’s first steps yet. In fact the final product might not look anything like what you see now.
YanDev is basically only creating concept ideas at this point.
Shenmue 3 will be done in around 2-3 years and is built on Unreal 4.
This game taking 2-3 years and done by one guy? LOL
the issue is it is even legal to play this game.
Consider US law is very strict in these matters.
Especially game that contain sexual illicit and violences include scheming for murder and under age girls is involve. This game won’t go anywhere.
Hardly. The creator may have trouble selling it in a store without getting an ESRB rating (which would probably be Adults Only), but that’s not legally required, and I doubt he’s going to be selling it any way other than by download. And as long as nothing in the game is illegal (kiddie porn, copyright violations, etc.), then he’s not going to have any legal issues.
The reason why you don’t see many games like this in the US are cultural and financial. Not a lot of people are interested in them, so there’s no profit in it, given the normal dev costs. Also, the ESRB cartel pressures stores not to sell products they haven’t rated, which is an added cost. This game shouldn’t have either of those problems. It’s only being made by one person, do costs are low, and there’s no need for widespread retail distribution, so the ESRB can piss off. US legal content issues are actually pretty lax as long as the game doesn’t dip into pornography or violate copyright.
There have been a lot of actual assassination games released over the years.
Eva’s game seems alright. It has a lot of promise.
Beg pardon, but there is a world outside of the US, and we have this thing called money as well. Some of us strange Europeans even understand enough English to tolerate playing a game in that language.
Tolerate, at most. I think as with Japanese Visual Novels, somehow will translate it in a proper language, when it’s done.
Who are you telling to chill? lol only two other people posted
love the game concept, but that talking voice is rally annoying for some reason. if he make some cash from patreon, he ought to hire another person for the voice. same person as the yandere girl if he wanna be cheap about it
I hope somebody in japan steps up an dub this in superior nipponese
Nipponjin no play games made by filthy barbarians.
English?
Regardless, if s♥♥t like RWBY can get a Japanese dub by official seiyuus, then I’m sure something like this can if it becomes a thing for them too.
I begin to suspect YanDef is voicing everything *her*self.
There are forums with wannabe voice actors that would probably do it for free/next to nothing.
