Hibike! Euphonium Season 2 & Movie Announced

A second season has been revealed for KyoAni’s lesser music anime Hibike Euphonium, as well as a compilation film, a rather unexpected turn of events that will hopefully promise more of the highly coveted yuri content that so many praise the series for.
The announcement had arrived by way of Hibike Euphonium’s official website:
The compilation movie will likely contain footage from the anime’s original run (as most such films tend to do) with few new scenes and content, sure to disappoint those in dire need of more orchestral action.
Unfortunately no other information has been unveiled as to the release dates of the film or the new anime season.

I am not looking forward to have another yuribait torture from this series. This better have more Asuka, Natsuki, and Yuuko. After watching the first season, I realized that they were the very best.

It would have been had they not had that twist at the end. It clearly should have a second season.
Honestly, the LN wasn't that good. The pacing was weird and the ending sucked. Just let them roll with the anime in whatever direction they want to.

It's understandable why this happened, slowly but surely over the week each volume has creeped over 10k sold on BD. Not to mention the merchandise sells well.
I'm happy to see that Kyoani have realized they will never have a K-On! style hit again.
Hibike was pretty good. I don't mind this. Do they have anywhere else to go though ?
