Mindless hack and slash?? PlatinumGames DOES NOT make mindless hack slash. They make Character Action games, there is a huge difference. You cannot just mindlessly mash buttons in a Platinum game, you have to learn the combos, their properties, dodge offset, etc. The fact that you call anything developed by Platinum as "mindless hack and slash" show how little you know.
True that. Platinum Games are Character Action games personification :D you can button mash there the same way you can in Dark Souls you will make some progress but you will be/get shit score at the same time.

The first game was a hack and slash, one of my favorites to be honest. Something about that game hocked me in, great history and great characters.
I'm happy they put platinum in charge for this game.
