why the eye shadow? it's unbearable
yeah not a fan of it myself
It gives the eye more depth. Derp.
Some people just don't like it and there is nothing you can do about it. Derp.
It's a stage play, makeup has to be exaggerated.
Don't know why people are bitching about it online it's a simple reverse of the old theater trope from back in the times of Shakespeare where men played female roles, because women were considered bad luck to a performance. I'll give it a shot, it's working off a good story and if the actresses can handle their roles then we're minted.
Well said.
In case anyone forgets, Kenshin's VA in the anime is a woman, who also happens to be a Takarazuka Revue actress as well.
when you thought musicals couldnt get any more homosexually charged... they dust off kenshin.
It's weird how takarazuka uses as much makeup as it does. Kinda feels counter productive.
