Phantasy Star Online 2 has refused to let its popularity wane by establishing yet another anime collaboration, this time with Fairy Tail becoming the subject of new weapons, hairstyles and costumes, although all this still leaves some wondering if the game will ever obtain an official release overseas.

PSO2 is a marketing platform thinly disguised as a game. why would we even want that here?
Probably because it's better than half the shit shoveled off America does get? It's not even a marketing platform, unlike other companies, Sega isn't scared to collaborate with other people.
And all we know Sega keep making shit game. Japanese game is dying.
Monster hunter4G and pokemon X & Y have sold almost 10milion coppies in Japan.... what other AMERICAN games have sold that much?
Only in japan though. Therese games, don't really have that much reach outside of the domestic japanese market. There are a lot more japanese people, who own a 3DS, than there are Americans, or any westerner. These games, are only profitable in japan.

PSO2 probably has the best english patch out of all the asian mmo's and the english community is strong in certain servers.
If the game does get released outside of SEA, its gonna be completely fucking shit because all these collaborations will not be localized.
The game itself sucks ass anyway so who cares
Summary of gameplay: do generic kill X of Y quests and once you run out of quests to do or hit a wall, run around in circles in a tiny randomly generated map with a party of randoms and beat up waves of the same boring enemies and dull bosses over and over to get more money and more exp, or farm bosses yourself by repeating quests over and over
