South Park Studios: “Send Us Yaoi!”

The official blog for South Park Studios (the animation studio behind the legend that is South Park) has requested yaoi illustrations from its faithful fanbase for this weeks episode, specifically involving characters Tweek and Craig and likely leaving little to the imagination as to what purpose the images are needed.
South Park’s known (and either beloved or dreaded) tendency to poke fun at all aspects of world culture has caused few to be surprised at the studio’s request, with speculation being that the art will be used to make a humorous jab at those who obsess over such “pairings”.
Even Japanese animation and its varying cliches has been unable to avoid the grasp of the all-encompassing show, spawning some rather unique pieces as a result:
Art submissions are being accepted until 6 PM tomorrow (October 26th) and unfortunately only US residents are able to participate – the studio has mentioned that they will try to include as many illustrations as possible on Wednesday when the episode airs.

South Park is probably the only western show that's funny when it comes to parodying anime. Every other western show that does it is just fucking stupid. Look at when Family Guy did it for example.
Family Guy hasn't been funny since season 3. Not a good example.
I'd say its hit and miss with any show really. you can expect every episode to be great, but that will only disappoint you.

i quit watching it when the creators decided to use it as a platform for their political/spiritual beliefs instead of actually being funny.
same reason i quit watching family guy actually, although family guy stopped being funny long before they ran out of ideas and started using it to push seth mcfarlane's political agenda.
hell even the simpsons fell into the same trap, although for them its understandable since they ran out of ideas more than 15 years ago.

It's just entertainment. Of course the creators are going to include their own views and beliefs. It's not a news program like Fox "News" which is suppose to be unbiased. How come you aren't bitching about every news program in existence? At least with that you would have a legitimate and cogent reason to complain.

You are absolutely incorrect. In general anime, manga, and NOT practically everything from the east is criticized for being childish not for adding the creators own views and beliefs. I might add that South Park itself is criticized for being juvenile and resorting to low-brow humor itself. Not to mention, as I pointed out, Fox News is from the U.S. (NOT America....the U.S. does not encompass the whole 2 continents of the Americas) itself.
You need to grow up a little more and stop using the U.S. to reinforce your persecution complex. Or if you are a U.S. citizen you need to quit trying to belittle your own country just for your own personal superiority complex.
