Atlus 2D action RPG Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir has shown off a vast array of improvements to its graphics, AI and battle system with its new gameplay PV, hopefully meeting the standards of RPG-enthusiasts enough to warrant repurchasing the title.
The PV:
Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir will descend onto shelves on January 14th for PS3, PS4 and Vita – the game will also be distributed in North America sometime in 2016.
Does Sony own Vanillaware? Or at least does Vanillaware have a deal with Sony? Because the only Vanillaware game to NOT appear on a non-Sony system in recent years was Muramasa (which was later ported to the Vita).
Wish they’d put it on PC. It’d probably sell enough, especially if they eventually put it in a humble bundle. Despite the low price, being featured in a humble bundle can put a game / developer in the black in just the week or 2 the game is in the bundle.
It’s the same reason why Nippon Ichi Software never put any of their big titles on the Xbox 360, same with Gust. They just love Sony that much.
The PS2 version was fantastic. It’s only major problem was the slowdown. Can’t wait for this version!
More Gwendolyn !!! , Yeah.
Did you say…Gwyndolin?
I already closed this game about 3 times in the playstation 2 and the art is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, plus i wanted a version for the PC -_-
Agree. The game needs to come to Steam/PC. Hopefully Sega will make it happen down the road. For the time being though, I’ll pick this up on the PS4 to support them.
Hmmm… Odin Sphere with no lag…? Maybe… maybe… I just don’t want to do some of those battles again!
