The recently arrived Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water has (somewhat unexpectedly) been subjected to an excessive abundance of censorship, after many believed the skimpy DLC costumes would be the only victims – unfortunately, according to Nintendo, the mere sight of a girl in a bikini is all too hazardous to the M-rated game’s impressionable western audience…
A video courtesy of a French player, depicting the difference between the Japanese and European versions of the game:
Considering the appearance of Miu in her bikini is part of her job as an idol and not just gratuitous service causes this bizarre alteration to make even less sense…
Unexpectedly? It’s Nintendo.
Who cares?
They are just costumes, look what happened to TERA.
If we get the same gameplay in our version, I’m happy.
Guys I just googled “women in not clothes” and found something strange. Apparently under shirts and dresses women have skin and stuff, I think they are called breasts and legs. Whole new world here, I think Nintendo should know. Can someone get Reggie’s phone number?
Does Nintendo not watch US TV? They have tits all over the place and Europe can get even more liberal with titties. I think this is far more Nintendo overreacting. I dont get why they do this unless they trying to market the game to kids.
haha~ and just the other week nintendrones were bragging about how if it wasn’t for Nintendo this game wouldn’t exist, etc
