Doesn’t change the fact that “badly written” still means “badly written”. Tons of studios had already devolved into making cheap cashgrab almost exclusively for otakus and fujoshis now, which is a huge stagnation for the entire industry because no one cares to be innovative anymore as long as they’re making money off the pigs and rottenheads.

But if you were referring to the anime, I’m afraid the storyboard is written by someone else, although in some cases they will consult the authors for details and verification but overall, those scripts are mostly written by screenwriters.
