It seems that every time the animators paint the male mc's hair, the only available color is black, but they have lot of paint colors available for the girls.
@11:05 you do know that the artist responsible for color design is just following the source material's original colors with some minor changes where applicable? There are criticisms about "weird" hair colors of male characters on relevant sites but rarely do we see such remarks for females.
