I disagree a little with Overlord. The adaptation of the novels feels lacking, especially in the last battle, it just seem less epic than in the novel. It has the best opening/ending of the season tho.
The opening/ending is the only thing I didn't like about it personally. lol.
Where is Monster Musume? I thought Japan liked monster girls now.

Rokka pulled itself from one cliffhanger to another, due to a massive lack of story.
Rokkas ending was what made it a fucking joke and pos this season no wonder it's not up there.
Rokka no Yuusha started great, but lost track if things halfway trough and became a bad show in the end. it's sad, but it's the truth.
Wrong, it is the other way around. I started bad as a supposedly bland fantasy the first 4 episodes. Then it suddenly got really good with a twist towards mystery and great character interactions.
It also got a protagonist that actually managed to confess and not being hindered by a crippled personality or events hindering him, all the while circling around a harem of bland girls.
For those haters posting on such threads everywhere on sancom, the next time you people mention your own favorite top 10 or top 20 of whatever, please DO not forget those are shit list as well since apparently no one else agree with you (so who cares about your opinions).

In the end i loved Gakkou Gurashi, i was fool into thinking it was just a slice of life show, when in reality it was something else.
I'm satisfied Overlord made the list, there were problems with pacing.
DO YOUR DUTY TO THE OVERLORD, BUY THE BLURAYS AND SUPPORT A SECOND SEASON!

Shalltear is my favorite. Just not sure why I don't like Albedo. And not cause it's the name of the one villain in the Xenosaga.
Albedos insane grinning alone was a reason to watch the show.
Personally I would not place Overlord first, I felt that the animation was VERY lacking the last battle would be the best example, while it was an epic battle in the novel, in the anime it felt just not as epic.
Overall I would place it higher though.
I didn't hate Gate, but it never really made me feel i was watching something great either. just good entertainment, but that is all.
