The rather stellar costumes for Ghost in the Shell‘s upcoming stage play adaptation have been revealed, clearly demonstrating the strenuous amount of work being devoted to the event’s costuming, though some are wondering whether the play will meet the massively high expectations the anime so encouragingly invites…
The relatively impressive costumes:
The Ghost in the Shell stage play will debut at the Tokyo Geijutsu Gekijou Playhouse from November 5th to November 15th and will even incorporate 3D video into the event, which can be amplified further through the use of 3D glasses – a gimmick sure to make up for the lack of gunfights and renegade robots on stage.
doesnt even look like that guy has a beard!
Morfeo of Matrix?
Aramaki is the only one that looks acceptable. The others all look to me like cosplayers desperately trying to look serious or cool.
Except for that Aozaki Touko. I guess she’s pretty spot on. Wrong series, though.
Stage plays in Japan are better than Holywood bullshit and japan movies
Lol! Ishikaway looks like a wolfman that’s turning.
How did they mess up that guy?
But his hair is very strange, seems like some 1980’s bands.
