The western release for Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water has certainly proven to be quite “spoopy” (as Nintendo has it) as the game reacquaints viewers with the cameras and spirits synonymous to the franchise – whether the game will maintain the erotic content present in the original Japanese version seems doubtful however.

Just watching the trailer make my hair stand on end, it certainly is spooky, it bring back memories of past Fatal Frame I've played. And are we supposed to feel soapy from watching that scene in the bathtub = spoopy?
But I can't shake off the image of Yuna (Final Fantasy X) from my mind while looking at the female protagonist, not that it is a bad thing though. Isn't it too much of a coincident that both franchises is "FF", I'm not implying there is any plagiarism involved. O_O
P.S: I hope there is a choice to switch between the original voices and the Eng dub, I always felt the latter to be void of emotion.
Fatal Frame? Spoopy? Okaaaay...
It's a shame the series is co-owned by Nintendo. I had to wait for the wii emulators to be stable enough to run the FF4 and Deep Crimson Butterfly. Now I have to wait until emulators can run FFV. I bought every game on PS2 and X-box before the series jumped ship to Nintendo with their iffy localization practices and stupid region lock. I'm not so well off that I can afford to buy another console just for a single game. :(

What about Bayonetta's bare ass in Bayonetta 2 or the sexy outfits in Ninja Gaiden Razor's Edge. What about the chick with the huge tits in Hyrule Warriors? The nudity in Deus Ex and Watch_Dogs

Nintendo is the sole reason these game got made. They split the bill on publishing and some development since 4. Temco reaps the profits of allowing them to use the franchise while they outsource for development, in the case of 4 and Spirit Camera anyways. The initial FF team is still there and contributing but they clearly have lost members over the year. I still has held up better than SH.

Correct, Platinum Games said without Nintendo Bayonetta 2 never would have been finished, they didn't have the funding.

You realize Microsoft and Sony offer just the same kind of contract to developers to get exclusive titles, don't you? Heck, even Steam and GOG are doing that nowadays. Nintendo simply offers more money with less minimum sales, at least right now.
