KyoAni’s Kyoukai no Kanata has become the next anime to receive a “horrendous” English dub, sure to spawn the typical interminable “dub vs sub” controversy, though not strongly enough to upset fans spared the bother of importing or knowledgeable enough to switch audio tracks (possibly a troublingly small demographic).
The English dub trailer:
Kyoukai no Kanata’s English BDs will arrive in North America on October 13th, the limited edition will provide buyers with a poster, postcards, a special booklet and the “Daybreak” OVA.

It's funny to see how much of a weeb the author of these "articles" is.
As always dubs with god awful voice acting.
That's what happens, when you hire low pay non-union scabs. Dub voice acting is an insult to professional voice actors.
Some dubs are union, but purist anime fans complain about them all the same.
I like both dubs and sub. To me, it's sort of weird to listen to a fantasy film in Japanese, so I'll often choose the dub if available (assuming it's good). If it's set in Japan, it often makes more sense to hear the original language.
There are other times one of the two is just horrible, and it's nice to have a choice. For instance, I can't stand the heroine's squeaky falsetto in Fruits Basket, but Laura Bailey just nailed it. Other times, the English dubs just don't capture the original, like with Steel Angel Kurumi. Okay, old-school examples, but you get the idea.
Fuyukai desu

Was not disappointed.
Obligatory subs > dubs comment.
How does the sub vs dub fight still exist in the era of DVD and Blu-ray? It's not like the VHS days where a show might only get teleased in one language.
It's about not wanting a re-dub to exist, let alone indirectly pay for it.
God dammit! Sentai dubbing again!
Yes, I agree that English dub acting is almost always subpar. But the English voices are just as ridiculous as the Japanese voices. The Japanese acting is better, but the voices themselves sound just as dumb. I don't expect you to understand if you don't speak Japanese.
Any one still choking on the same dub vs sub DICK should just die they have 2 f,ing tracks shut the fuck up already. I don't buy anything no matter how much I want it if it's not dub and there nothing that will convince me of anything else the original audio is changed anyway if you fallow the subs
You should just do the fandom a favor and stop watching anime.
Wow, that took a while...
I don't want no stinking Re-Dub on my expensive BDs.
Did they insert random irrelevant "progressive" dialogue again? It's only a matter of time. And stupidity.
SEE!!! THEY KEPT THE FUCKING TERM YOUMU. Fucking fansubs.
