It's a little bit of a shame that it's released with some issues in it's programming that's screwing up what scenes appear; but at least they are already working on an update patch for these issues.
In general it was really good so far - I say so far because I haven't really been able to progress to finding what I assume would be the "true route" due to the other mentioned issue. (At least, so far as I can tell, that's why).
I'd wait until this update becomes available before you buy, if you haven't bought it already.
Are there choices that offer branching story routes? I was hesitant to pick it up cuz I was worried that it didn't have multiple routes.
There are 3 main routes. Asumamiya and Monkey share a route, Sabei and Aishi share a route as well, since their stories are interconnected.

Pretty solid game, there is a missing BG but all the CGs are there and the missing BG is very early and only for a few lines of text anyways, nothing gamebreaking at all. They're already working on an update as well. I think they also want to add more content to the game, i'm unsure if it's going to be free or not or actually happen in the first place.. hopefully it does.
Monkeys route was a bit confusing to progress through at first, it requires 2 seperate choices with 3 or 4 options per choice at one point- and even if you choose wrong the first time you'll still get that second choice but it will not allow you to progress, you need the perfect 2 choices and it's not clear what they are and it made me think that was the end of the route before realizing there is a lot more to it. That particular route also was the shortest..
We need more Monkey!!. Was worth a buy for me.
