A massive batch of new screenshots for Star Ocean 5 have surfaced, giving potential players a closer look at the game’s many breath-taking locations as well as its plethora of dastardly beasts, though whether or not the game’s cover art will be of the same quality however is yet unknown.

Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness will makes its way to the PS3 and PS4 on February 25th, while the western release is slated for sometime in 2016.

When I play JRPGs, I fill my party with the hottest looking females(And in almost every case the loli) and if my party is weak or underpowered, that's okay. I'd adapt and grind some more.
I hope there's a zoom-out mode for the battles, so it looks more like the other STAR OCEAN games.
For melee battles, I prefer to see everything that's happening at once rather than having the camera zoomed in on one character, which, I suppose, makes sense if you play the battles only fighting with a single character but, if you play it like I do and switch between characters on the fly, then zoomed-in can get dizzying.
I think it will be possible. usually all star ocean titles allow it. I guess they just zoom in for the sake of showing the graphics and style and to give that action feeling to the battles since they are not concerned in the trailer to be uber effective in battle.
The special moves and abilities look cool the first dozen times you see them but for a game that lasts probably dozens upon dozens of hours, they get stale quickly.

My biggest complaint: can we pick a different color to have main heroine characters themed around that isn't some form of pink, please?
Gods be good, there can only be so many games where I exclude a character from the party because they're literally too pink to look at.
2 had a blue-white heroine
3 had a blue heroine
4 had a blue heroine

It wasn't the main heroine, but pink outfits did appear in every installment:
- Pericci, SO1
- Celine, SO2
- Peppita, SO3
- Lymle (faint pink, more like rosé)/Myuria (pink/blue), SO4

for gods sake, you guys complain too much. Its a different design, ok, but compared to some other character designs from previous star ocean its not bad.

That green haired girl really has one of the worst costumes I've seen in a long time. I hope there are some dress options.
Given the background of symbology and the need to engrave its symbols unto the casters body (remember Myuria?) as well as Fiore's own reason for a costume that skimpy ("showing off the engraved symbols as a means to display strength", it doesn't feel that wrong.
Maybe not, but the outfit is still quite stupid. There are better ways to show skin in accordance to the lore.
Symbology is part of the universe. Even the 4D beings were shitting themselves at how the 3D universe were using such power.

A mage with big tits is in no way lacking. When this game comes out, she's in my party from the moment she appears to the moment the game ends. Giving how it's on next gen, she'll likely have some boobie bounce during battles.
Star Ocean 4 even had ass jiggling. So expect a lot.
