The manga is one of the all time classics.
It does the monster of the week thing a while. Definitely a product of it’s time, but that kinda makes it feel fresh these days. Having read the manga I can confirm it’ll get really fucking good before it ends, but I can also see not lasting that long as a reasonable choice.
