Funimation aren't perfect, infact one of their Voice actors Scott Freeman got arrested for 8 counts of CP possession and imprisoned for 3 years in Texas. But it's a damn sight cheaper buying the inevitable American release over the Japanese.
funimation is shit, pure shit. their dubs suck and their subs are mediocre at best. only thing going for them is cheap boxsets, unlike those assholes at aniplex.

I agree with that. The budget for the show was likely quite low considering the runtime. It wouldn't surprise me if they released on two BD volumes and really, it'd only need to sell a few thousand overall to make them money.
not gonna lie, the story is totally incoherent. The last episode had nothing to do with any other episodes or even itself.
A lot of people complained about this in Evangelion, and look at it now.
Instant classic, just hope they create a second season with longer episodes.

Mage is the show's only redeeming feature, and she is under-utilized. We need more Mage.
