The latest gameplay PV for Final Fantasy XV has shown off its not at all boring fishing mini-game, while also confirming the existence of Chocobos and the player’s ability to ride them – naturally prompting many to question the game’s need for a car if the franchise’s majestic yellow birds are far from extinct.

Why need cars if we have horses?

I'm sure the car is not only faster on longer distances, but usually provided by the plot. While Chocobos are for exploring difficult terrain and bonus areas.
If this Final Fantasy is anything like all the other ones, you will probably be switching vehicles on a constant basis.
FF8 had cars, chocobos, a ship; Hell you could even pilot a fking city., what the fuck are people complaining about.
Up rescuing Balamb Garden has always being one of the most epic moments in any Final Fantasy for me.
I felt absolutely no desire to play the game by watching that video.

Square Enix seem to miss the mark with their online Final Fantasy titles. Imagine if they did an online Final Fantasy game that was like FF15? :)
Yeah, I don't think anyone knows which online game you are talking about since FFXI has its own niche and FFXIV is all around great.

I don't know... The triple triad game in ff8 was super annoying, but you almost HAD to play to get some stuff, such as doomtrain.
triple triad is fun to a degree though. but fishing is just a complete rinse n repeat rng stuff
"Almost HAD to". Didn't play one game of triple triad and got Doomtrain anyway. If I wanted to play cards I'd gather up a bunch of people and do so.

They try to bring something new by having the characters ride a car and people bash them, so they bring the chocobos back, and people bash them... so, what the hell do you want?
The men look so corny and typical anime guys. That's the problems. Just like how people are sick of cliche white men in games you also have people tired of cliche anime feminine guys.

If it's so dull you should stop wasting your time and pick up more productive, life enriching activities. Go get fit. Volunteer at a shelter. Learn to fix cars. Hell, learn to make your own games that you yourself would play.
