Over-the-top armed school student anime Hidan no Aria AA has divulged more of its plot with its 2nd PV, reassuring viewers that the show still maintains its humdrum slice-of-life school environment – a much needed element that might help keep Type-B viewers from losing interest.
The musically enchanting PV:
Hidan no Aria AA will commence the mission on October 6th.

This anime was fucking garbo. Why are we getting more of it?
all i remember from this series is.... HA! HA! HA!
I don't like the new designs.
i don't like it when they rewrite an anime, instead of finishing the anime that they already have. especially when you are waiting to see were it is going to go.
The AA part in the animes title stands for Arias bra size.
Only one shot of Fuuma? Outrageous! Kinji's Amica best Amica!
just what the world needs; more shitty twintails tsundere
Don't be such a tsundere we know you love it
And right when Rie Kugimiya's typecasting was finally ready to just die already. Even worse, they've gotta try and revive it with what may well be the most dislikable character she's ever portrayed.
Would be nice to hear Rie voicing other roles. I think the last time she wasn't voicing a Tsundere was when she was voicing Alphonse from the first FMA>
Where have you been the last decade? Aside from the fact that Rie reprised her role as Al in Brotherhood, she's been playing quite a few non-tsundere roles in recent years. With both Shakugan no Shana and Zero no Tsukaima ending, it seemed as though she was finally free of all the pigeonholing... at least until this crap came along.
Well, sue me. I haven't really been keeping up with anime much these days.
fucking plebeian
i guess the first season sold enough copies and merch for them to make a second season.
the novel is really good, but the anime was kind of disappointing.
It's NOT the second season, it's based on a spin-off.
Either way, it's shocking that there'd be more of this when hardly anyone seemed to like the first series and the BD sales were terrible.
Sadly, the story starts getting interesting from vol 4 onwards... And the anime was only vol 1-3 :(
Not true at all.
Volume 1 sold 6,356 copies combined for DVD/BD first week. The rest of the series followed a similiar pattern. It didn't sell enough to greenlight a second season, but the studio sure as hell made money on it.
Why are they resurrecting this again? This series did nothing the first time. Just because J C Staff botched any reason for Index III... Honestly, if Japan has enough time to resurrect series as old as and cliche as this, then they have enough time to conclude the hundreds of anime that they created that were promised second seasons, but never saw one....
"old"? The first season ended a little over 4 years ago.
Wait, how did they fuck up the chance of more Index happening?
They didn't. Index/Railgun sell ridiculously well in Japan. And speaking of which, I would be shocked if we don't get more Railgun in 2016. It's about time.
More chance of Railgun too as 1) It sells well, 2) It's easier to merchendise as they can do endless Misaka/Kuroko stuff.
