A foreboding PV for the next entry into the Monogatari series “Owarimonogatari” has given a brief overview of the impending season and the characters that will be involved, which may possibly cause an upset amongst fans as – just as its name suggests – this may be the final entry into the revered Shaft series.

The hype-inducing PV:

Owarimonogatari will commence on October 3rd.

Yea... would be hard for this to be the last for the series when it's only going to cover 2/3 of the books that comprise Owarimonogatari... plus the fact that there's another volume that comes after that...

Nah this isn't the end. Owarimonotagari is set before Hanamonogatari and there's a handful of books after that too.
