Kinds upset they didn't animate Itami scrubbing down Rory after her slaughter, but oh well.
Also that sexy scene was animated correctly, they were interrupted by his cellphone in all versions of the story.
Seems like this show is just pro (Japanese) military + random gore because gore. I like the main character's design though and I'd like to see more of her than just stills and gifs.

Pro japanese military is as shitty in this anime as pro american military is in Hollywood live action movies. In addition earlier episodes don't have much blood & gore in them: in episode #2 bullet holes can be seen, but not blood nor shredded body parts. This episode #10 is something different! The author of the original web novel was ex-JDSF and Pro Right-Wing Government so expect some unbelieveable and overzealous nationalism in both the manga and the anime.
The manga is heavily pro Japanese. The anime really blunted that aspect, which is what I really appreciate for what the producers had done
Rory is up there with Kurumi from DAL. That assertiveness is super hot!

Well it's really progressive In respect to story. Though they're taking a lot of minor details, it's still being conveyed well enough to keep u on your feet.
Man, you guys gotta stop whining about everything not being in the anime. Every LN/manga adaptation, there will always be edits made to fit the episode length and/or series length. This kind of stuff is commonplace,
i mean heck, when LoTR was screened, everyone was complaining about the omission of certain parts. If Jackson actually decided to screen the directors cut, each movie woulda been atleast 4hrs long.
And as a final note, usually the author/artist is consulted with the production of an adaptation. So, whatever is shown, is usually a compromise between the author and director.

If they have anything better than regular rifles, they might have won, maybe even easily.
I mean she might be able to regenerate, but what's she gonna do if you reduce her to only her head? Or maybe even if it doesn't kill her, I supposed a clean headshot should put her down for several hours.
But yeah, regen is the only reason Rory won that fight at all.

The JSF not only lay waste to the US but to the Russian spec ops as as well without losing a single soldier. The author's obvious nationalism is obvious. A more realistic depiction is when they were slaughtered by the former Spetsnaz group in Black Lagoon because they just couldn't compete with the extensive real-life combat experiences of the foreign opposing force.
