Long-time anime fans have been hit with another blast from the past as a new CM has surfaced in promotion of the upcoming Slayers BD box set, allowing fans of the ancient series to re-watch its films and OVAs whilst potentially going on mindless rants about the current state of the anime industry.

Is this going to be another one of these "we lost the original film" crappy upscales from analog masters? Given JC Staff's handling of other shows from that era like Maze, it wouldn't surprise me.
I still want another series but I heard Evolution and Revolution didn't do to well ratings wise.

you should really check Danmachi, or Zero no Tsukaima, theyr both really good and in the same style

agreed on Louie..not so much Orphen and season 2 is just annoying.
Maybe Orphen is not so strong on comedy, but is a hell of a great show. Louie is a great example of hilarious anime. sadly haven't seen anything like it lately.
