I loved this anime. It didn't have childish humor, it actually made me laugh out loud and told a nice and inspiring love story. I couldn't understand why Rom-Coms need to have character running around the school with nonsense because the main character can't just say no sorry or no it's a misunderstanding. Of course you get nervous if you want to tell a girl you like her , everyone gets nervous but eventually you get the courage, and there's nothing wrong with leaning on friends for help. Lots of relationships start like that ( including my first serious relationship) and it's not weird. Yet anime like Nisekoi start off really interesting and then MC can't tell the girl he likes her , ok fine, he has friends who can he can talk to and maybe help him out. Oh no , a friend tries to the girl he likes her, but no other friend has to stop her, of course he's jealous he doesn't have any girl to like him but they play it like it's some kind of good thing and be an asshole of a friend.

The anime is actually pretty good if you like rom-coms. Even if you don't like rom-coms, the stupidity, miscommunication and humor might make it a wortyhwhile watch.

It's more like the "Beauty and the Beast" of anime.

At least those have real script and better acting when compared to holysmoke (Hollywood) adaptations which altered things to the point they no longer make senses...

If you feel this movie doesn't suit your taste, feel free to skip it, nobody can forced you to watch things against your will, no? :/

That only applies to anime who have a lot of fantastical elements to it like DB or SnK. This series on the other hand is simply a rom-com. It's perfectly doable. :)

Takeo is the only one who seems to look right. Sunakawa looks like a nerd, not the handsome boy he should be. And Yamato... is not even small and cute enough. And, well, she's black-haired again. Even Japanese can have naturally brighter hair. They could make her reddish brown at least.

Japanese Live Action - always disappointing.

Dude. East Asians aren't typically that tall, hair coloring in anime is just that - anime hair(it's a trope), and that guy looks perfectly fine. Most orientals favor that guy's looks over more manly appearances like what westerners would like.
