I'm disappoint. I should be laughing much more than I am at this material, but it's like they hired people who don't know how to comedy to script the last few episodes, and the director just gave up and went for the flattest possible direction in frustration. Despite all of the punching, there's no punch to the humor, the repetition is just repetition without payoff, and they even felt the need to explain obvious jokes to me like I'm mental. Pretty lame.
Well...read the manga and be incredibly disappointed then. The anime is sticking to the original material and they're doing an excellent job at staying loyal to it, it's just that this arc is all about Aoi and developing the romantic pairs.
People seem to forget that this is based on the manga, and it's not an original series. Some just need to read a bit intstead of just staring at a screen hoping for things to be automatically of their tastes.
