Lesser idol anime PriPara has recently been targeted by numerous complaints submitted to the BPO (Broadcasting Ethics & Program Improvement Organization) due to the graphic imagery present in its ending animation, which has been removed for those who find a slipping shoulder strap to be damaging to the innocent minds of the show’s younger viewers.

The event has naturally earned the ire of faithful watchers who decry the change as ridiculous and unnecessary, especially when the rest of the bikini-toting girls in the ending wearing even less than the altered image have gone unchanged.
Further research by one particularly dedicated fan has also revealed that the harmful image in question was actually also a tribute to a famous photograph of scandalous US actress Marilyn Monroe:

It's possible this is an anime targeted at a younger audience, most of the racy ones are late night anime. Still, I see nothing harmful about the picture, maybe they should've just made the nightie less transparent looking.

Wait everyone. I viewed the video before finishing reading the article and thought the same as you, but after reaching the end it's all clear. It's not censorship of the contents, but removal of copyright infringement. Really, I believe the person who drew the "inappropriate" image traced the MM photo without proper written authorization from the copyright holder, believing it to be a tribute, but Japanese are super-extra-anal about copyright and removed it. I'm serious, no joke. Try searching for the "Haru wo daiteita" manga scandal by Nitta Youka, especially the part where the traced photos copyright holder responded "we're fine with this", and nonetheless the manga editor removed everything about it.
