Resident Evil 2 Remake Officially Announced

A remake has been officially announced for classic zombie horror game “Resident Evil 2“, bound to bring back the much-loved survival horror elements that so many fans have clamored for – with many likely hoping that the developers will not be influenced by the franchise’s most recent iterations.
An official announcement video with the game’s producer, Yoshiaki Hirabyashi, delivering the good news:
Unfortunately, not much else has been divulged about the remake or its intended release date.

Investor speak for: We're too fucking scared of risking our money trying new ideas so just gussy up the old one, the unwashed masses won't know any better.
Their last attempts to change up the series reduced it to a bunch of action-ey shooters. Fans want a return to the old form.
I hope they can do a HD remaster of RE3. Nemesis was terrifying.
If they made bullets/health a rarity, cut back on the amount of weapons(Or made them difficult to find). They'd not only increase the difficulty level, they'd increase the tension while playing.
Then come up with a better idea yourself, dickless.
Honestly, one can only go so far before the same trope is repeated too many times with nothing more than a new layer of shine and "new" characters to carry out the story.

@Chen-04, not everyone knows how to do that nor do they know what requirement/equipment is needed for the task. Plus, youngsters nowadays is very concerned about having high visual qualities whether it's watching videos, playing online games etc, you name it.
With emulators you can play old games in high definition. If they're too stupid to set up emulators they're probably too stupid to beat those old games anyway.

all resident evil is available on PC, buy it, its a good game that even though its old, its still relevant
The playstation res era was when the series was mechanically at its strongest. Resi one remake is arguebly the best game in the series and it was a remake done properly, not just a port.
yet it sold poorly at the time. The move to remake an older resi game is still a risk.

RE 1-4 are the best RE games out there. The first one was remade, the 4th one doesn't need a remake, it's already pretty awesome, so we only need RE2 and RE3 remakes. And we're getting there.
Great News. Their previous remake was somewhat fantastic if u compare to the original one, i had a lot of fun playing it.
