This show is cheesy and generic, but its that good type of cheesy and generic that you cant help but watch. Like the WWE (which has fallen over the years) or that movie The Expendables.
The WWF/WWE was never good. Go back and watch some old matches/commentary from the 1980's. The characters are different but it's the exact same "soap opera for men" shit they're doing now.
The Expendables series of movies is Hollywood figuring out that if they stick every action hero from the past 30 years into the same movie, it's a license to print money.
The Expendables isn't really a movie as it is a cash cow. The producers admitted that their ONLY goal is to make money, so they paid a bunch of specialists to come up with a formula to do just that. Any movie from 2000 onward from Millennium Films has only been to make money, not make good movies.
Especially the male mc. I don't mind because the girls are bunch of hybrids you see on bestiary.
I think the MC is really cool mainly because of that 10-Ton Punch that he has. Like holy shit, that's pretty badass for a regular dude.

Seeing as it's none of the above, why even bother watching this generic crap?
It's fun to watch. Personally I don't care for fanservice and/or harem shows at all, but this is just adorable. I don't mind the censorship either, it's not annoyingly done. It's really weird, that is why I say I can't explain it :D I shouldn't like it, but I do.

I hate thi show precisely because I love monster girls so much. the designs are terrible and the creator was so concerned with whether or not you could wank to each girl that he neglected to actually make good designs. The centaur is especially boring.
If you want to see some good monster girl designs that also manage to be cute and sexy, look at A Centaur's Life/Centaur no Nayami. I'm hoping it gets an anime soon and people can stop praising this poorly written re skinned ToLoveru.
