RPG Maker MV Trailer Feature-Packed

The first trailer for upcoming RPG creation tool “RPG Maker MV” has at last shown its new features in action, giving developers some insight into whether or not the program is suitable for their needs – while hopefully maintaining its reputation for being beginner-friendly.

While some of the previous titles in the RPG Maker series required knowledge of Ruby for maximum control, RPG Maker MV may possibly be offering JavaScript as an alternative (perhaps not likely to be regarded as much of a step forward by some) – though inexperienced developers will still be able to create games without any coding knowledge whatsoever.
No release date has been revealed for RPG Maker MV at the moment, but those curious can read more at its official website.

how? most of RPG games (if anything, few) aren't even remotely close being popular up with the rest of the "better" indie games.
while I may agree that there are a fair amount of good and bad games off from rpg maker, other games not made from the program(s) aren't excluded from this either.
Indie games should die, well, im actually just bitter that the only free games for ps plus on the ps4 are indie games, while ps3 and xbox one have actual games

Learn it, it's not that hard. There's tutorials online.
The gist of it is: make something relatable. Yeah, it can be a fancy sci-fi story with magic and mythology, but there'll be a boy who confronts his inner fears and falls in love with the cute girl. At least if you want a FF clone.
It's not rocket science - to get inspiration read some books too.
No and no. How about a story where main protagonist is a brutal anti-hero, killing and raping everyone, and saving the world in the process?
