There have been many games in the 3DCustom Girl style. Most of them merely copies of other Eroge games and mostly disappointing. The most memorable one of course was 3D Custom Girl which lasted quite a while. It was all good that the game allowed such a large customizability, but outside of taking pictures and very low-scale animation ero scenes that actually defeated the game ero-play and transformed it into more of a "dress-up" Barbie (with the ability to make the character nude and with detail).
The second one I remember was a poor reconstruction of Artificial Girl 3 - except with toonshading. Though I expected more out of Custom Girl Evolution, it actually seemed like a step backwards from it's predecessor.
This, to me, looks like it'd deliver the same empty gameplay. Not something that excites me to want to play.
I think I'll wait for Sexy Beach Pro coming out in September... THAT at least looks like it'd be more interesting (especially if they're merging the concepts of Artificial Girl, Artificial Academy, and Sexy Beach all in ONE game) About freakin' time!
Sounds like you haven't played CustomMaid 3D and the recently released sequel CustomMaid 3D2. 3D2 is definitely worth a try.
Illusion has been churning out trash ever since Artificial Girl 3 anyway so I'm not holding up much hopes for Sexy Beach Premium.
