I hate you sankaku complex!, I had almost forgotten the obnoxious spanish dub for kero but you made me remember. I don't understand why every character on the series sounded like european spanish people but kero sounded like a retarded mexican. If he had sounded like a regular mexican I wouldn't have any problem with that; but they made him sound totally retarded.

I got news for you. In the English dub he sounded like some 30 year old California surfer bum.
Although it should be pointed out that in the Japanese version he had an Osaka accent, which the Japanese associate with being loud, rude and unrefined. So there you go.

Kansai dialect is associated with comedians in Japanese media... and it is more than just an accent, there are huge pronunciation, vocab, and grammar differences, as well as backwards accents.
