    You all know that the novels that come bundled with the BD's basically explains that the anime is an alternate timeline where Loki messes with the past. Which then leads to Issei's kids being sent back to repair the timeline so that it corresponds with the novels.

    Mess? They adapted a few books at the same time to avoid issues later on. There's no filler in this season. You may not agree with the style used but its faithful to the material.

    @04:56 its faithful during the first 10 1/2 eps half way into ep 10 until near the end they entered into anime original territory. and it was unusually rushed skipping various key elements. wont be surprised if it was rated poorly by fans compared to season 2

    Not really no. There's so much material there to do more that it could easily be done. Adapting something without filler isn't beating a dead horse. There's demand there.

    You only have to look at how much Highschool DxD merchandise there is in Japan, you can get almost anything related to it.

    The amount of money they can make of something says nothing about the quality, though. I think I saw enough monochrome backgrounds and static images with talking mouths for a lifetime in this last season.

    Money may not reflect quality but it reflects the lifespan of any series. Making money = More seasons.

    That's one reason why This anime sucks, especially this season.
