I actually like the differences you can find in this Anime, compared to the others MMO-series... The player is currently alone, it's mandatory for him to interact with roleplays, his disappearing human nature...
Hell, even some of the players' names (of his previous guild members) are more real for MMO guys. There even was a player named 'Touch Me' , that's soooo legit.
And so, Madhouse has proven once again how awesome they are when it comes to anime adaptions.

Currently loving this anime.. A lot. it reminds me when it comes to pacing of code geass. bus pity this is only 13 or 12 eps to the pacing will get screwed sooner or later. Q_Q
with 13 episodes, I think it'll probably be fine. might take 5 episodes to cover volume 2, but 1 per chapter is a great pace

I was surprised they let a lot of the gore in. I am excited to see how the rest of the series plays out.
I read the light novel, their are more gore to come for the bad guy. story will also go deep
One of the best part in the light novel the part where hunter become hunted. one of the Overlord maid is like, said I want you inside of me with a lust expression >_< I can't wait to see it anime!
